Itinerary
07:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Malindi, Mamburui, or Watamu. Drive approximately 2½ hours (120 km) to Sala Gate, Tsavo East National Park. Upon arrival, take a short break for refreshments and restroom, and enjoy viewing crocodiles at the Galana River. 10:00 AM: Check in at the park gate, open the jeep roof, and embark on a game drive along the river en route to your lodge. 12:30 PM: Arrive at your lodge for lunch. Afternoon relaxation until 3:30 PM for coffee or tea. 04:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Evening game drive. (Animals are more active in the cooler late afternoon.) Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
06:00 AM: Breakfast at the lodge. 06:30 AM: Depart with your luggage for a morning game drive en route to Manyani Gate. 10:00 AM: Check out of Tsavo East and continue your journey towards Amboseli National Park, either via Taveta or Mombasa-Nairobi Highway. Arrive at your lodge or camp in Amboseli for lunch. Afternoon relaxation until 3:30 PM for coffee or tea. 04:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Evening game drive against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
06:00 AM: Breakfast at the lodge. 06:30 AM: Depart with your luggage for a short morning game drive. 10:00 AM: Check out of the lodge and begin the journey back to Voi Town. 01:00 PM: Stop for lunch in Voi, then continue to your hotel along the coast. 06:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel — End of Safari.
